What makes environmental laboratories different
Unlike most testing laboratories, environmental laboratories in Türkiye work under two sets of requirements at the same time: ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation by TÜRKAK, which demonstrates technical validity, and the environmental measurement and analysis competency certificate issued by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change. Add field measurements, many different matrices and pass/fail decisions against legal limits, and the quality system becomes demanding.
